I recorded this song in August 2007. There's not much to say about it. It's not an easy song but I love it, that's why I wanted to do it. When I listen to it, I keep thinking I'd really like to work on it more because there are some things I'd like to change but this was my first private recording session ever so I have to keep that in mind...

J'ai enregistré cette chanson en août 2007. Il n'y a pas grand-chose à en dire. Ce n'est pas une chanson facile mais je l'adore, c'est pourquoi je voulais l'enregistrer. Quand je l'écoute, je me dis sans cesse que j'aimerais bien la retravailler parce qu'il y a des choses que j'aimerais modifier mais il s'agissait de ma première session d'enregistrement privée donc il faut que je garde cela en tête...

                                                         

J'ai enregistré cette chanson en séance privée (je fais parfois des stages de chant durant lesquels j'enregistre et je vais en plus, une fois par an, en séances privées durant lesquelles je peux travailler plus longuement mes enregistrements) en août 2008. C'est l'une de mes chansons préférées, j'ai beaucoup travaillé pour obtenir ce résultat (bien que j'aurais pu faire mieux si j'avais eu plus de temps). Bien entendu, je ne suis pas Leona Lewis (et ce serait d'ailleurs dommage car ça ne sert à rien d'avoir plusieurs personnes qui chantent de la même manière) mais je suis quand même assez contente du résultat. J'espère qu'il vous plaira aussi.

I recorded this song during a private session (I sometimes take singing lessons, with other people, that last a whole week during vacations and during which we also go to the recording studio and, in addition to that, once a year, I go to private sessions during which I can work longer on my songs) in August 2008. This is one of my favorites songs, I worked quite hard on it to get this result (although I could've done something better if I had had more time). Obviously, I'm not Leona Lewis (which would actually be sort of sad as there really is no point in having two people with the same voice) but I'm quite happy with the result. Je me rends en studio tous les étés, vous aurez donc l'occasion de découvrir de nouvelles chansons chaque année. Je ne vais pas vous mettre toutes mes chansons d'un coup, je préfère faire durer le plaisir (en espérant qu'il s'agira, en effet, de plaisir!). Sachez cependant qu'il ne s'agit pas (encore) de mes propres compositions. En effet, j'ai déjà écrit quelques chansons mais je voudrais trouver un compositeur et, après cela, des musiciens pour venir enregistrer avec moi. En attendant, je travaille sur des chansons d'autres artistes.

These songs are not mine, they're cover versions. I do write songs but I can only write lyrics. I'd like to find a songwriter to help me out with the music and, after that, some musicians who'd like to come to the studio with me. In the meantime, I work on other people's songs.
